Getting started

Camera, microphone, and Photos

Player Lock requests Camera and Microphone access only when you use a capture or recording feature. It requests Photos access only when you choose to save a completed recording to Photos. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Player confirmation

Before recording, use the live camera view to place and confirm a manual anchor on the athlete you want to record. If the athlete leaves the frame, Player Lock continues recording while you manually restore the anchor. Player Lock 1.0 does not provide automatic player identification or automatic camera control.

Privacy and local data

Player Lock 1.0 stores athlete profiles, recording metadata, and app-private media locally on the device. The app does not require a Player Lock account or upload athlete profiles or recordings to a Player Lock cloud service in this release.
